The new G1 Android is finally here, but you don’t want to sign up for a pesky two-year contract with T-Mobile? Well I don’t blame you, I wouldn’t either. Someone figured out just how easy it is to use the new G1 Android without actually having to activate it. All you have to do is use an active T-Mobile SIM card and pop it in the phone. Then go through the setup process and activate Wi-Fi. You won’t be able to make phone calls without a plan obviously but you can use all the other cool features of the new G1 Android.
