Wireless HDMI TVs from Westinghouse
Westinghouse is planning to release two wireless HDMI HDTVs for the commercial market. Their new 42” and 47” TVs are targeted towards B2B signage applications. These new TVs will be able to receive real-time audio and video wirelessly from all sorts of sources. These will make mounting TVs in hard to reach places or areas where cables cannot me used a lot easier. These new TVs will be able to receive data from Blu-ray, DVD, DVR players as well as cable or satellite feeds. The TVs feature 1920×1080 resolution out of all its HD connectors. Pricing has not been determined yet.
If wireless HDMI technology becomes a hit in the commercial sector, expect it to hit the public sector as well soon and say goodbye to the bunches of cables that always seem to clutter your home theater systems.
