Mitsubishi recently accounted their Mitsubishi Living Fit TV which takes advantage of their WHDI (wireless HD) technology that helps make devices operate with each other. The product comes in two parts: A very thin and cool looking LCD TV and the other is a separate box that is a Blu-ray player that sends a wireless signal to the TV. If you have other WHDI HDTVs within 100 feet of the main Blu-ray receiver box you’ll be able to stream uncompressed HD video content to them. The main benefit of this is that you don’t have any messy cables to deal with. No pricing has been set yet but Japan gets first dibs on the setup with the US getting them next year.
