Dish Network to air Olympics in HD

Dish Network has just announced that it will carry NBC’s two Hi-Def channels for the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing, China. The NBC Olympic Soccer Channel, channel 99, and the NBC Olympic Basketball Channel, channel 98, will feature 24 hour high-def coverage of each sporting event during the games starting this weekend. Dish is said to also provide HD coverage from NBC, USA, CNBC and Universal in HD. All In all 800 hours or so of high-definition broadcasts of the Olympic Games will be available to sports fans around the US. Get ready to see our athletes win the gold in HD!
