Paramount is going to be offering a $10 rebate on select Blu-ray titles if customers upgrade to Blu-ray editions. The promotion from Paramount will start September 2 with the release of Transformers on Blu-ray. To take advantage of this program owners of the DVD versions owners must mail in the coupon and proof-of-purchase included in both the DVD and Blu-ray editions of the movie’s included in the promotion. The program is aimed at emphasize the better quality of Blu-ray compared to DVD. With more HDTV price cuts on the way this is the perfect time to take advantage of this promotion from Paramount. Other movies included in the promotion are The Godfather, Sweeney Todd, Stardust, Zodiac and Old School.
