Sanyo HD800 720p camera on the way

Sanyo is planning to launch their new HD800 pocket 720p camera in Japan. An improved camera over their HD700 the HD800 will be able to shoot video in 720p widescreen and has an eight-megapixel camera. The HD800 is said to have improved image sharpness and color accuracy as well as 3D noise reduction. The HD800 features a 5X zoom lenses as well as face detection and can be connected to your computer or HDTV via a USB or HDMI output. The Xacti HG800 camera retails for $463 in Japan, no word yet on a release date for the U.S. but expect it to hit our shores soon.
