500gb hard drive
Imation has announced the release of their new Apollo portable hard drives with up to 500GB or storage space. Their largest previous hard drive model was 320GB. Also available are Apollo 160GB, 250GB and 320GB hard drives which all measure about half an inch thick and little less than half a pound. Connection is via a USB 2.0 cable at 480Mbps which also powers the hard drive. Compatible with both Mac and PC and retailing at $90 and $170, now you can back up all your cartoons and Myspace pics.
